Dr. Justin Lee Loy is a board-certified internist who recently completed his formal training in the field of Nephrology. Dr. Lee Loy is originally from Trinidad and Tobago where, after obtaining a national scholarship, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of the West Indies. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and subsequently also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lee Loy then moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Florida. During his tenure there he served as a Chief Fellow and also became a certified hypertension specialist.
Dr. Lee Loy’s clinical interests include home dialysis therapies, hypertension management, and glomerular diseases. Dr. Lee Loy continuously strives to provide innovative and progressive care to all in his charge.
When not practicing medicine, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and reading.
